Early on as a performer and heading out on stage I was certain of one thing…I must stand out amongst EVERYONE in the room.
When it’s your turn…You must shine and own the room.
Own your space and establish a strong presence.
Your body should be open and forward to the audience.
This gives you a more relaxed posture and audience a more open and engaging impression.
Try to get your energy moving forward.
Crossing or keeping your hands in front of you is a closed or defensive posture.
Remember to have good posture at all times, even when not speaking because you may be on camera, and can still be seen by the audience.
